Apotentia is a software company building tools for digital wellness and user empowerment. The name is Latin for "without power" — software without power over its users.

Legal Structure

Apotentia LLC is a single-owner limited liability company incorporated in Virginia. We were incorporated with assistance from Zen Business.

Registered Names (DBAs): Apotentia, Apotentia LLC

Apotentia is a disabled-veteran-owned business (DVOB), founded and operated by a US Army veteran with a service-connected disability rating.

Ownership

Apotentia is privately held with no outside investors or partners. This allows us to maintain complete control over our product direction and ensures our software serves users first, not shareholders.

Funding

Currently self-funded by the founder. We do not accept partnerships or investment offers. Those who wish to support our work can make donations (see contact page for details).
